Can the garden furniture really be left outside all year?
Yes, all our garden furniture is made with materials that can remain outside all year long, in rain, snow and sun.
Our exclusive Waterproof Cushions are offered as standard across the majority of our All Seasons range and are resilient enough to withstand unexpected downpours and most stains. During heavy rain, we advise that our Waterproof Cushions should be positioned with the seat cushion pulled forward slightly and the back cushion slid down to where it is touching the base tucked in behind the seat cushion to prevent water pooling and entering through the zipper.
Are your cushions really waterproof?
We are proud to exclusively offer the UK’s first fully waterproof cushions. Following six years of development, our Waterproof Cushions, made from marine grade acrylic fabric (a waterproof membrane and Teflon treated yarn) are both fully waterproof and virtually stain-proof even against red wine and bleach. To discourage mould growth, we advise that your Waterproof Cushions are stored in a completely dry environment such as under a waterproof furniture cover, indoors or in a weatherproof storage box.
What is the rattan garden furniture made from?
Our synthetic handwoven Rattan is made from a polyethylene based extruded fibre that is strong, flexible and durable. The material is UV and weather-resistant, and tested from -70c to +80c. The wicker will not split or crack, and will show no noticeable signs of fading.
What are the rattan garden furniture frames made from?
Our garden furniture frames are constructed from reinforced tubular aluminium finished with epoxy paint or powder coating to ensure durability and longevity over time.
What timber do you use on your wooden garden furniture?
We always use high quality, kiln dried teak sourced from carefully managed plantations and forests in Indonesia.
What is the difference between the Mayfair Collection and other rattan collections?
The Mayfair Collection is our mid-market range, offering great value for money. Each set is supplied with our standard, non-waterproof charcoal grey cushions.
Our All Seasons Collections use the highest quality Rattan and are supplied with our fully waterproof cushions. These are also virtually stain-proof and UV resistant enabling them to be left outside all year round with very little maintenance required.
What is an HPL top?
HPL stands for High Pressure Laminate, a resin based material that is very durable and perfect for outdoor use. It is waterproof, stain resistant, scratch resistant, heat resistant and does not shatter like glass, meaning it is well suited to be used for dining tables, coffee tables and side tables. Ranges with HPL tops include Cliveden, Hampstead, Florence and Windsor.

Unfortunately, this is not a service that we supply at present.

Can I see the furniture before I buy it?
To view our beautiful garden and interior Collections at your leisure, please visit one of our five showrooms.
The products displayed in each showroom have been carefully chosen to reflect a wide selection of Bridgman products. If you are visiting to view a specific set or piece, please call your local showroom prior to your journey to confirm this is present for viewing. How do I know that what I am ordering is in stock?
All items listed as 'In Stock' are available and ready for fast delivery. Some products may be listed as 'Pre-Order' with a back in stock date - this is the date that the furniture will be available for delivery from.
How long will my delivery take?
The following delivery lead times are advised for in stock items to be delivered to UK Mainland.
These times are subject to stock availability:
Fast-Track 1 Man Delivery – within 1 week.
Premium 2 Man Delivery – within 2-4 weeks.
Alternatively, many of our products can be collected from our warehouses in Enfield, London.
Can I choose a specific day?
Yes, specific dates can be selected for our 1 Man Delivery Options during the checkout process.
When choosing our Premium 2 Man Delivery specific dates cannot be given at checkout, however once you have placed your order our delivery partner will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you require delivery on a certain day please contact us prior to placing your order.
If you would like your item to be delivered on a Saturday, please be advised that there will be an additional £40 shipping cost.
What does the 1-man delivery service include?
Kerbside service – the driver will deliver the goods to the front of your property for a signature. Orders will arrive on a wooden pallet and the delivery driver will unload and remove the pallet, but is not responsible for unpacking or setting out the furniture. You will be responsible for the disposal of packaging.
What does the 2-man premium delivery service include?
2-man delivery team will arrive at your home, transport the furniture to the room / place of choice, unpack, position and assemble the furniture and remove any unwanted packaging.
Can I collect my order from my nearest showroom?
Click and Collect is currently only available from our showroom in Enfield, where our staff will help you load your vehicle. We kindly ask that one day’s notice is given prior to your arrival.
We are currently unable to offer Click and Collect from any other showrooms.
Can you ship outside the UK?
Yes, we regularly ship all around the world and are happy to get you a competitive quote. Please contact our Sales team for more information. Please be advised that deliveries outside of the UK require additional paperwork at this time.

How can you give such long guarantees?

Why does one collection have a 3 year guarantee and another a 10 year guarantee?
Due to the materials and manufacturing process used for each furniture component, guarantees can vary across Collections. The Wickerline range of Rattan, used in our Mayfair Collection, uses a process called dual extrusion where weave is extruded and colour is applied as a surface coating. This is the industry standard and allows for a good value for money product.
Our more expensive Rattan Collections are made using a longer lasting and higher quality process called mono extrusion. This is where all of the core materials including colour, UV inhibitors etc. are added to a hopper and extruded together to ensure a consistent and thorough application, guaranteeing that the furniture will look good for even longer.
Bridgman are one of the only brands in the world to use the mono extrusion process because it is a more expensive process. On the surface, it is difficult to tell the two types of Rattan apart as they are comparable in both style and look. Differences are only evident in scuffs and scrapes that may occur from moving and storing the furniture due to the Wickerline’s different internal colour, unlike our All Seasons pieces. With proper care and TLC, your furniture will stay looking good for years to come.
Repairs & Replacements
Can I buy replacement cushions?

Can I buy replacement glass?
Yes, we are able to replace certain glass adornments subject to stock availability. Please contact our Sales team for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I buy any cushion colour with any weave?
Yes, however if this differs from what is offered in that collection, the cushions will need to be made bespoke. This does not incur additional cost but will prolong the lead time. Bespoke cushions have a lead time of 6-8 weeks.
Do you repair furniture?
Yes, we can repair furniture during our off-peak season which is usually October-January.
Please contact us at email@example.com with a photo of the item requiring repair and your proof of purchase to receive your repair free of charge while under guarantee. Outside of guarantee, there will be service, and transport charges which our support team will be able to provide a quote for upon receiving your enquiry.
I've lost or damaged my parasol bung - can it be replaced?
We are happy to supply replacements of parasol bungs. Please contact our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know which table you have.
I've lost or damaged the cover for my parasol - can it be replaced?
Yes, however this is dependent on stock. Replacement covers can be purchased if needed.
Refunds & Returns
How do I return items?
Please contact our team at email@example.com to arrange your return. The service used will depend on which items you will be returning.
Do I have to pay to return items within 30 days?
Our terms and conditions currently state that customers will be responsible for the cost of returning items, unless faulty and we are notified within 7 days.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds will not be presented until all of the items you want to return have been received and inspected by our warehouse team. Once we have accepted your return, we will issue your refund immediately. Refund process times are dependent on your banking society.
