The Role

We’re seeking a driven and customer-focused Furniture Consultant to lead our Amersham showroom. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering exceptional service, driving sales, and showcasing Bridgman’s stunning collections. As the face of our brand, you’ll create a premium, personalised experience that inspires customers and builds lasting relationships.


Key Responsibilities

·        Sales Excellence: Proactively meet and exceed sales targets by understanding customer needs and confidently presenting Bridgman’s luxury products.

·        Customer Experience: Deliver a seamless and memorable showroom experience, ensuring each visitor receives personalised attention and expert advice.

·        Showroom Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the showroom, maintaining pristine presentation standards and stock levels.

·        Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador for Bridgman, embodying our values of quality, craftsmanship, and exceptional service.

·        Relationship Building: Develop long-term connections with new and existing customers, trade professionals, and commercial partners to drive growth opportunities.

·        Team Collaboration: Foster a supportive, positive team environment, leading by example to achieve individual and collective goals.


What We’re Looking For

·        Proven experience in sales and delivering exceptional customer service, ideally in a luxury retail or showroom environment.

·        A passion for high-quality design and an eye for detail.

·        A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify growth opportunities.

·        Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and build trust.

·        Strong organisational skills, capable of managing showroom operations with precision.

·        Strong IT skills, with proficiency in systems such as CRM software, point-of-sale platforms, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

The Role

As Trade Manager – Northern UK, you will play a key role in driving business growth, expanding Bridgman Commercial’s presence across the region, and building strong relationships with trade partners. You’ll be responsible for achieving sales targets, nurturing client accounts, and identifying opportunities to deliver exceptional outdoor furniture solutions to our valued Trade clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Growth: Drive business growth by acquiring new trade clients, managing leads, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Client Relationships: Build strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to grow Bridgman's trade presence across the Northern region.
  • Market Awareness: Stay ahead of industry trends, identify opportunities for growth, and monitor competitor activity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and customer service, to deliver seamless client projects.
  • Performance Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics, provide regular reports, and support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
  • Experience working with commercial clients, particularly in luxury or premium sectors.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel across the Northern UK region as required.
