SHOWROOM MANAGER - WALTON

Join the Bridgman Team as the Walton Showroom Manager - Where Luxury Meets Service Excellence

 

At Bridgman, we take pride in our legacy as a leader in luxury, British-designed furniture. With over 46 years of heritage, we are expanding beyond garden furnishings to create beautiful, enduring spaces within homes year-round. We’re seeking an independent, passionate Showroom Manager to join our Walton-on-Thames showroom, ensuring every customer enjoys a world-class experience from the moment they step through our doors.


Location:
Walton-on-Thames, KT12 1QD
Contract: Permanent, Full-time across 5 days per week including weekend.
OTE: £45k+ (base salary plus commission)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience: Offer exceptional, personalised service, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
  • Sales Leadership: Guide clients through the entire sales journey, from initial enquiry to post-sale support, providing expert advice on our luxury furniture.
  • Performance & Strategy: Work closely with the Director of Sales to achieve targets, analysing and reporting showroom performance.
  • Lead Generation & Follow-up: Engage with warm leads daily to drive new business and build a robust customer base.
  • Product Expertise: Develop an in-depth knowledge of Bridgman’s products to confidently recommend the best solutions for our clients.
  • Visual Merchandising: Curate an inspiring, inviting showroom that reflects Bridgman’s aesthetic and enhances customer experience.
  • Team Building: Lead by example, promoting a positive, supportive atmosphere and fostering teamwork within the showroom.
  • Operations & Security: Manage the day-to-day, including keyholder responsibilities, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment.

 

Key Skills:

·        Store Management: Proven experience in independently managing a luxury retail store.

·        Luxury Sales Expertise: Familiarity with high-end products and the expectations of premium customer service.

·        Customer-Centric Approach: A passion for exceeding customer expectations and delivering excellence.

·        Communication & Brand Alignment: Ability to communicate in a tone and style that embodies Bridgman’s brand, building strong relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders.

·        Technology Proficiency: Comfort and skill in using sales, reporting, and operational software to support showroom management.

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to reliably commute to Walton-on-Thames, KT12 1QD
  • Retail sales experience: 5 years+
  • Customer service experience: 5 years
  • Authorised to work in the United Kingdom
