TELL US ABOUT YOUR HOME
It's a Victorian cottage built in the late 1800s, early 1900s, so it's full of history. We moved here in early 2021 and since then have been transforming the interior and exterior spaces with some exciting projects.
WHAT IS YOUR GARDEN'S STYLE?
Modern but with a traditional twist. Because this is a cottage, I wanted the garden to be in the cottagecore style without being too old fashioned. So it's a mixture of both contemporary and traditional.
HOW HAS YOUR OUTDOOR SPACE CHANGED SINCE MOVING IN?
The garden already had borders down both sides, which I replaced. I've put a patio at the end of the garden because there was nothing there, it was just grass. That's where we get the most light so that's why we chose this Mayfair Dining Set - it fits gorgeously because this is where the sun hits at the end of the day.

HOW DO YOU USE YOUR GARDEN?
I don't like gardening. I like to keep the garden simple and easy to manage, so I've planted perennials which come up every year and just need a little bit of TLC. Other than that I only do light work like weeding.
The space is much more for entertaining. I love having friends round which is why the Mayfair Set works so well and has allowed us to use the garden much more. We've had alfresco lunches, hosted some afternoon teas out here and enjoyed coming out here with a glass of wine on warmer evenings!

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR BRIDGMAN FURNITURE?
The set is beautiful. I chose this Mayfair Dining Set because I loved the look, the colour and the rattan, and I know it will never date as it's such a classic design. It's also an ideal size for my smaller patio area and the quality is amazing. I absolutely love the Dining Armchairs in particular as they're so comfortable and quite unique.

- Embrace wicker - it's light, versatile and won't go out of style.
- Create cohesion between your indoor and outdoor spaces - if your home is neutral, complement it with a neutral garden to allow the spaces to flow effortlessly.
- Look to nature for inspiration - use the colours of your garden to accessorise your outdoor furniture with pops of colour.
