HUMBLE BEGINNINGS...
Bridgman's origins lie in home furniture as a manufacturer of mahogany chairs and TV cabinets, designs that were soon supplied to JVC, Grundig and Toshiba.

In 1989, we added premium-grade teak timber garden furniture to our catalogue, marking the beginnings of the Bridgman that our customers know and love today.

In 2001, after identifying a demand for low-maintenance rattan garden furniture, we introduced all seasons rattan furniture to the UK, sparking a trend that has defined British garden furniture design for over 20 years. Similarly, after years of prototyping and testing, we combined water-protective and stain-resistant technology to create our bestselling fully waterproof cushions.
