While you are getting into the Christmas spirit why not create your own Christmas DIY decorations? They can be very simple to make and will help your garden, porch or patio look festive this winter.
These winter themed Snowmen are made using new and old terracotta pots from the garden. You may find that your plant pots have discoloured or simply have a crack in the base and these can be perfect for use here.
You may need to take a quick trip to the hobby shop if you aren't arty and already prepared! All the tools and techniques are here: https://gardenclub.homedepot.com/make-a-terra-cotta-snowman/
If a wreath is not your style but you would still like to jazz up the entrance to your home, these homemade traditional wreath replacements are perfect!
Jingle Bells – This homemade monogram wreath can be easily created, and would also make a lovely gift. Simply buy some Christmas bells and cut out the letter of your choice. Place the bells onto the letter. Once you are happy with how they look simply glue them into place. It is really easy to make and the results are beautiful. Use some ribbon to make a bow with two loose ends. Turn the letter over and glue the ribbon ends to each side of the letter and voila!
In the Frame - You may have an old photo frame lying around that needs some attention, whip out the poster paint and give it a new Christmas feel. Using Christmas themed colours of reds and greens you really can transform it. Add a bow and some baubles from your stash of tree decorations and there you have it!
